COJ St. Johns Marina

Not very well maintained. Could be a really nice shore fishing spot. Sail a huge tarpon take air busting on some mullet I believe. This does seem to be a good spot to drop in a boat. Minimal parking but boats seemed to drop in/trailer up pretty well. Seems to be good ramp for at least boats up to 17' to '20'. Have not viewed at low tide but part of ramp I have seen does seem solid and in good shape.

Does anybody know why the parking lot is fenced and the buildings are abandoned, including the nearby fountain ?

Great ramp because no one uses it. Can get shallow on negative tides but it's all silty soft mud so not a big deal. Docks were heavily beat during Irma and repairs were mimimal. It's going to get reworked soon so hopefully it gets some improvements.

Marina has been demolished and no longer exist. Personal boats can dock at the floating docks water taxis use, just stay out of the yellow marked boundary for the water taxis.

The public boat ramp has minimal dock access. Wooden dock has been fenced off for what looks like a long time. It does have a Porta potty which sometimes get neglected and trashed.

Great spot to drop a boat downtown. Just limited parking.

Great location. Stayed here last year and will repeat again.
